“Abrosexual” is used to refer to people who have a fluid sexual orientation; that is, they experience different sexual orientations over time. Some abrosexual individuals may change their sexuality in a wide range while others don’t experience it so much. Different abrosexual people may have different definitions of their sexuality since they have different experiences of gender and attraction.

Keep in mind that abrosexuality affects sexual desire instead of romantic desire. For example, an abrosexual individual may date a boy they don’t have sexual desire for, but they may still want him romantically.

Abrosexual vs. Pansexual

Many people may make sexual mistakes abrosexual as pansexual. However, pansexual refers to individuals who find attraction in all people regardless of their gender, identity, or sexuality. However, an abrosexual individual’s attraction is changing, they may have moments being pansexual and also the moments not.

Abrosexual flag

The abrosexual flag is made up of five colors. There’s dark green, light green, white, baby pink, and rich pink from top to bottom.

It isn’t known why these colors were specifically chosen for the abrosexual flag. One Tumblr user on the page abrosexual learning shared their interpretation of what the flag’s colors mean. They said, “Green represents a queer attraction, the fade to white is for the in-between stage of attraction shifting, and pink is for the actual shift itself. Also, the colors match that of watermelon, which could be a fun pun on the /fluidity/ of our orientation.”
